Dear Fellow Democrat:
With a run for Congress, I am writing to inform you that I am coming to your community to pay my respect and listen to your concerns of your family, community, and our country. I am respectfully asking you to come to a local Town Hall meeting to discuss what is important to you and your family, and what you would like your congressional representative to fight for in Washington, DC. Sadly, our current congressman, Nicholas Langworthy, does not have the courage to face you in person and explain why he blindly supports President Trump, Elon Musk and votes to give massive tax breaks again to millionaires and billionaires. In turn, Langworthy voted to cut social security services for seniors, Medicaid, Medicare, veterans’ services, food stamps, healthcare, food for children, public education and other important government services. We are in a fight with millionaires and billionaires, versus hard-working families and the poor. We are also faced with a constitutional crisis as President Trump refuses to follow the constitution, the law, judges’ orders and ignores the civil rights guaranteed for all people in our country. Our current elected officials refuse to fight the blatant corruption that is on-going in the country as the wealthy control and profit off our government, and our representatives betray our hard-working families.
I would like to run for Congress, therefore I am traveling throughout this large 23rd District for one year to respectfully listen to your concerns, earn your trust, and fight for you and your family in Washington, DC.
For greater than 30 years, I have been an attorney who has taken on some of the largest law firms in Buffalo, NYC and nationally. I have represented individuals who were wronged by insurance companies, governments, or other large corporations. I enjoy fighting on behalf of “the Davids against the Goliaths.” Likewise, I am eager to fight on behalf of you and your family! You will be my boss, not the wealthy that control our government. As such, you will always have my home telephone number if there is anything important you wish to discuss, or anything I can do for your family in the future.
I hope to see you in person at my Town Halls, shake your hand, tell you a little about myself, and listen to your concerns.
Below is a copy of the literature I attach along with the personal statement above to all my invitations to my Town Hall events.
